So what happened in 2016 for the 3rd International Microvolunteering Day event. Read on!
IMPACT AND REACH REPORT, 2016
Unlike the previous two years, the momentum behind the third Microvolunteering Day started to build up from nonprofits in the month preceeding the actual Day itself. Previously, this had only occurred in the few days prior to April 15th.
This increased interest from the voluntary sector resulted in:
- more social media traffic (mostly from UK)
- more activities being organised
- more interest about microvolunteering mobile apps
The reach in 2016 far exceeded that of 2015, where a more detailed breakdown of the who, what and where of the activities / participants on the Day can be accessed via the Impact and Reach Report. Enjoy!
